With a background in cuisine, cognitive (NLP, EFT & Coaching) & holistic therapies
AND physical therapies (personal training and sports massage) and with thousands of hours of
experience in these areas and a wealth of knowledge in neuroscience, epigenetics and nutrition
(including latest research and studies in gut health and microbiome), Jorge's approach is a
holistic one, so all areas of your life can be addressed in order to make your journey to
better health as smooth as possible - and enjoyable too! It will be tailored uniquely to you
AND any mental blockages overcome as they appear!
The Mind-Body Connection is real (as well as the Mind-Body-Gut connection!), and identifying

If you are like most people (and indeed me, or at least like I used to be) I'm guessing your idea or
going to the gym or using the services of a Personal Trainer is just for those 'gym bunnies' or those
wanting to be totally 'jacked' and who count macros and calories daily and are totally obsessed with their physical appearance.
You are not alone with those thoughts and of course I totally respect and admire their commitment and
efforts, because it isn't for the faint-heated for sure.
Focussing on and investing in your health and fitness is one of the best things you can do your long-term
health and for the ones you love - helping you to live a more healthful life. Also, in times of
ever-increasing pressures on the National Health Service it is even more important for us to look
after ourselves - there is so much we can do for ourselves to ensure we not just live longer but live healthier!
Using the services of a Personal Trainer should be considered more than just a luxury, it can be
considered a necessity. You are investing in someone to guide you and hold you by the hand towards a
personal fitness or healthier weight goal. Most importantly this is someone who is sharing knowledge
with you that has the potential to change your life in unimaginable ways. Some say life is about
priorities, how about prioritising yourself for once?
If you are a total novice to the gym or maybe you have been dipping your toes in and out for a number of
years then you might have seen all sort of incredibly challenging and almost impossible exercises to do,
let alone master. Perhaps just even watching some exercises gives you sympathetic muscle soreness or makes
you tempted to just sit on an exercise bike and scroll your social media for 30 minutes then leave!
Well rest assured, going to the gym or working with a Personal Trainer is not rocket science, and it must
NOT be difficult or off putting. I aim to make it fun and rewarding.
After having worked with many Personal Trainers over the years, personal research on the art and science of
Personal Training, Lifting and Nutrition I learned the basics to establish a solid foundation so anyone can
workout either at a gym, at home or anywhere else, following a simple (though not always easy!), well-written
programme which meets your personal needs and it's in alignment with your goals AND most importantly it is
versatile that will keep you engaged, motivated, focused and on track towards your long term goals.
